The attraction was the white Lambo with Playboy logo on the hood. It’s the playboy rides. The car was been display with Naza World plate. Last time, they also display the F50 Scuderia at Pavillion during the F1 season race two weeks before the race was to be held in Malaysia.

Besides the car, there was 3 model wearing bunny head gear with pony tail posing with the white Lambo car while promoting the new launch perfume. Lot of people were taking photo of the car and the models.

Actually, it was coincident i brought my camera as i intend to take Deepavali decoration inside shopping malls as what i did for Raya. But for Raya deco, i had not yet posted the picture yet. Maybe i will find time to post it on the blog. Me and my wife was persuade by the sales girls to purchase the perfume. The smell is quite good and it’s cheap with RM59.90 for 100ml perfume plus a body spray.

The packaging is quite nice as well. I was confused as the sales girl keep on giving me different type of smell from Malibu to Las Vegas and then Miami. My sense of smell was confuse when she decide me to give me to smell a container of coffee to neutralize my sense of smell. My wife reserves the Hollywood for herself and i have to choose either Malibu, Las Vegas or Miami. In the end, I choose Miami as the smell are much more pleasant than the other two.

Picnic Getaway @ Sungai Congkak Hulu Langat

Sungai Congkak

I had plan for a picnic at one of the forest reserve not far from city centre. I was so envy seeing my relatives picnic at my grandpa food orchard few weeks back and posted on Facebook. So, i persuade my wife to go for picnic each day until she agreed to. Hihihihi
So, on Friday after work and was the last day of my wife working at her old place, we went to Tesco to buy groceries for picnic and household. For the picnic, we bought chicken wing and clam mushroom. I think i’m too much looking forward for the trip.
When we reach home, I straight away change my clothes and starting preparing the ingredients for marinate the chicken wings which I plan to baked in the oven the next day before we go for the picnic.
The next day came, It was Saturday. I was quite disappointed as when I woke up at 8:00 a.m, my plan to have a picnic in the morning before noon ruins. It was raining outside and there is no sign it will stop as the sky is dark. Sighs.... So, i just keep my finger cross and hope the weather will change. So i continue sleeping till 10:30a.m. When i woke up again, it was still drizzling outside. Sighs...
Then at 11:30 a.m, the rain stop and i saw Ms. Sunshine spreads her lights over the Klang Valley. Hhihihihi... It’s a sign for me that the picnic is on. Hahahahaha....I straight go to the kitchen and baked my chicken wings in the oven, preparing the egg sandwich and re-heat masak hitam. My wife helped me to prepare the food.
It took us about 2 hours plus to prepare the food for the picnic. We went off at 3:30pm from the house and then pick up my friend nearby which also likes to join the picnic. Guess what, i have not yet decided which picnic place i want to go either Ulu Yam or Sg. Congkak. My wife decide to go to Sg. Congkak at Hulu Langat area as most of her friends suggest that place is far more better and cleaner than Ulu Yam. So we drove from KL to Sg. Congkak and it took us about 1 hour to reach our destination as on our way, there were massive jams at Jalan Ampang all the way due to still Raya month as most of the house still doing Raya open house.

When we reach, we were amazed with the scenery. It was cooler and the air are more fresher. You can hear the water stream rumblings on the river. The place we have our picnic is a 8 hectare area which we can choose where to set our picnic place. There were some pondok and chalet for rent. You may also do camping there as well which you need to pay as well. So we set our picnic site near the river bank. I can’t wait to dip my feet in the cold running fresh water.

We enjoyed the food that we have prepared and enjoyed the scenery. I see some people there carrying net to catch fish. I was wondering what fish was it. As i was standing in the water, i felt tickling on my feet. Guess what, it was few small fish like what we have in spa fish outlet and it’s free. No charges at all. So i called my wife and friend to enjoy the free fish spa.

Going home

We left the place at 6:30p.m, we decide to leave the picnic area as we don’t want to leave at dark coz the road leading back to the city have no street lights. All in all, it was a great trips and i’m looking forward for another picnic at Sg. Congkak.

Farewell Dinner @ Bora Ombak Ampang KL

Bora Ombak Restaurant and Coffee Bar

Last week Thursday, it was the last day of my wife  working with one of the well accredited 5 star hotel in KL as she was offer with a good offer in other hotel which is nearby to my working place. Her colleague decided to hold a farewell dinner in a fine dining restaurant located at Ampang. The restaurant that we went was Bora Ombak. It located at Sport Planet Ampang which is a well known futsal indoor stadium in KL.

Before we went there, my wife decide to give a door give to her attendee to her dinner on previous day. I will talk about it more on my next blog.

Teuscher chocolate as the door gift.

So back to Bora Ombak, the restaurant theme is like Balinese style which they have indoor and outdoor. The environment was quite cosy and a good place to enjoy with friends and family.
There were life band playing indoors and outdoors they were playing instrumental Balinese songs. It quite peaceful. It quite suprise that with Balinese themes, they do serve western foods and thai food.
We were having fun and chit chat among ourselves.

The special tea.

Nasi Lemak Nyonya

The place were empty at the beginning but later getting more and more patron. What a suprise, it was poco poco nite and there were people dancing on the dance floor provided at the indoor. Some people just dance to music. It seems like the poco poco just finally hit west Malaysia whereby the poco poco madness was way way back in Sarawak. I think 5 years back, this poco poco dance was a hit at my home town amongs those kampong people. Each kenduri, for sure got poco poco songs.

The live band performing indoors.

The set back of this place is the service is slow and most of the waiter are not Malaysians. All are foreigners and to talk to them was quite hard. But the best thing, there will be near your table when you request for drinks or food.

chit chatting with fellow colleague after dinner.

All in all, me and my wife would like to thank her ex colleagues for a wonderful farewell dinner treats to both of us.
