ChicKing Fried Chicken @ Tropicana Mall

There is a new fast food outlet which is similar to Kentucky Fried Chicken located at Tropicana Shopping mall; it’s called ChicKing Fried Chicken. As it was still new, so there were a lot of patron who want to have a test on the food they are serving. From googling the internet, found out ChicKing Fried Chicken is a fast food chain restaurant from the UAE which offering Halal food. The outlet in Tropicana Mall is the first outlet open in Malaysia soil. The second outlet will be located at Shah Alam.

The Menu
The foods are almost similar to KFC but the taste obviously is totally different from KFC. I order my the spicy chicken and it turn out to be over cooked and it was small. You can’t specific order which parts of chicken you want for your meal whereby we can do it at any outlet like McD, KFC, Popeye and A&W. Sighs.....

The mashed potato, ermmm.... ok ok lah but prefer Popeye’s the most.
The price, ermmm... reasonable but not worth it. What you see in the picture is totally different from what you been served. Muahahahahaha
Beside from the food and the pricing, I’m also quite disappointed with the service as there are only open 2 counters and the service quite slow. Maybe i can forgive about that due there just start to do the business. Saw few patrons were waiting so long for the food and i saw few fussy customers as well.
If I were given a choice of McD or ChicKing (Beside than KFC), I prefer McD better although there are not from a background of serving fried chicken. This is my opinion and I hope those read my post won’t get offensive with it. It may take time for me to visit this place until they is someone go there and give good comments about the food they served.

These franchise places - usually just ok, not great...and quite expensive...and this kind of fast food joints doesn't appeal to me. Nicer and cheaper to eat at roadside stalls or kopitiam...

Hahahahaha.. i don't wanna get offensive with my post but this is what my opinion on the food. Maybe some ppl like it than me. But honestly, pasar malam fried chicken much more better than it.
yes I appreciate your opinion, but Actually speaking I really enjoyed the meal. Fried Chicken is far better than KFC and yes as u said mashed potato is taste good. Even chickens all served is crispy and tastes very good. I wish more than just saying more comments, lets wish them a good luck and encourage the new chain so that we can all have great food all time and ENJOY!.
I am appreciating the above comments and I am a person who is tierd after trying all the leading fast food chains. But at ChicKing I felt something different with its great taste and product quality. I wish them to grow faster so that I can enjoy this tasty food from all cities at Malaysia. Chicking is really different and exceptionally good!Keep Rocking!!!

I came to know that it is a UAE based fried chicken chain with presence in several countries. I wish them to grow faster so that I can enjoy this tasty food from all cities at malaysia. Chicking is really different and exceptionally good!Keep Rocking!!!
I had an outing with my family at Tropicana last week. There I tryed chicking which was a diffent taste and we had different varieies. It is really difffernt and somehting great. The taste is not going from my taste buds. Now a days my kids wanted chicking food in daily outing. I wish them all success in their future.

Thanks for the comments and I do hope ChicKing will improve the service and food in Malaysia. Maybe on that day when i went to the outlet, it was newly open and operation still in hassle. So, i will give them another chance and see what will i get for my 2nd visit to the outlet since you guys did give a positive feedback. Cheerio.....
Brinda, Sreejith & Shafi must be high on crack (or works at ChicKing). This place is horrible! That's the truth.
