Subak is a geataway restaurant for some city dwellers which like to dine with nature ambience.Built on the fringes of the natural virgin jungles of Bukit Lanjan, Subak is a sanctuary that promises diners a culinary journey of fine food and personalised service. In keeping with the dynamic Balinese culture that is constantly fusing the old and traditional, with the new and innovative; Subak aims to emulate this concept by blending its rustic decor with functional yet unique furniture and fittings.

The soothing sounds of flowing water from our own fresh water spring, and the natural cacophony of crickets and other jungle dwellers is the perfect backdrop of this restauran.
This restaurant was inspired by Balinese style and Chef Hassan used this ambience for his restaurant. There were a man made pond and natural water flows from the hills. The ambience is quite cosy and diners may choose to eat at “Alang-Alang” or at the “Loteng”.
There are now 2 piece band performing romantics ballads songs.
The "Serambi" which can accommodate max 30 person for private functions.

For the food, Chef Hassan used fresh ingredient and the food presentation is quite impressive. You may choose either western, local, or balinese food from it menu.
We also found out few events had been organize here such as wedding dinner reception, birthday party, private function and others more. You may check on the restaurant website for the events for details here.
For the food pricing, ermmm.... what can i say. It quite pricey and if you like the ambience and the service is a bit like a four or five star hotel. Here are the some sneak pic of the restaurant and restaurant ambience.
