JAZ Beer is a Malaysian Brewed Beer

Have you ever heard of JAZ beer? Just knew about it when i was in Jonker Street, Malacca. That day when i reach the main entrance of Jonker Street, I told my wife that i was thirsty and i need to have a quench of beer to ease my thirst of drink as it was a freaking hot sunny day. So, after we have walk around Jonker street, so we stop in one old kopi tiam. My wife order cendol and of course i order a beer. There was a lot of beer advertisement been paste and displayed on the wall such as Heneiken, Shin Tao, Carlberg, Stout, Skol, Stella Artoise, Tiger and Jaz. As most beer i had been tasted before, so i decide to give a try to have a taste of Jaz beer.

So i order a large bottle of chill Jaz beer which came along with a cold beer mug. Before i drink it, i take a photo of it. What a suprise, this beer is made in Malaysia. So called wanna compete with Tiger Beer from Singapore. The first gulp of this Jaz beer, i  can describe the taste a bit like heneiken mix with Carlsberg. The taste so smooth when it is serve cold for a beer which contain 6% of alcohol.

Can say boleh tahan for Malaysian made product. But when it’s not that cold, i can say the taste it hard to gulp. Felt the same with Kingfisher beer from India which i had tasted before. Not sure if you can notice but its lighter in color. Tastewise rather weak. Wouldn't really order this again. Would rather spend slightly more and get something 'tastier' so to speak. Advise you guys to avoid this actually unless of course you were strapped for cash. Then by all means. On my verdict out of 5, i can give Jaz beer a 2. A good try for Malaysian brewer and hope they can improve. Who knows our Malaysian product can beat Tiger Beer or Heneiken. But we need to wait for that time to come.
